Does it upload my files?
No. Everything happens on your PC: converting, compressing, OCR and editing. Ayris makes no network connections and has no account, so you can convert HEIC to JPG or compress a video completely offline.
Do I have to open it every time?
No. Ayris starts with Windows and waits in the tray. Whenever you're holding files in File Explorer or on the desktop, the circle just works.
Will it replace my editing apps?
It's made for the quick jobs: converting, shrinking, trimming, merging. For real editing you'll still want your editor; Ayris just saves you opening it for the small stuff.
Can it handle big files, like a long 4K video?
Yes. Nothing is uploaded, so there's no size limit to hit. Big jobs take as long as your PC needs, and you can keep working while they run.
